I bought these pants for a rugged wilderness trek of 40+ km in the Canadian wilderness. I plowed through bushes, spruce trees, alders, mud, hip-high weeds and brysh, and slid down rock scree. I even fell and punctured my knee, but the pants held, keeping the offending branch from entering my knee, which allowed me to finish the trek successfully. In the end the pants took everything I dished out and are hungry for more. They dried quickly after hiking in the rain, were comfortable and survived with no rips, tears, or seam damage. I love these pants.

These hiking pants are really good overall. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and breathable, which makes them great for hiking and outdoor activities. The quick-dry material is especially useful during warmer weather, and the multiple pockets provide plenty of storage without feeling too bulky. I also like the adjustable ankle drawstrings and the added ventilation. The fit is comfortable and allows for a good range of movement. These pants are sized accurately. They have more pockets than I need, all of which are good size and secure. The fit is slightly slim. The quality feels better than overpriced REI pants.
